Who
is Sionix?
Sionix
Corporation is located in Irvine, California. Sionix
is a developer and manufacturer of water purification systems for
drinking and wastewater applications in both the public and private
sectors.
Sionix
uses the time tested DAF [Dissolved Air Technology] technology which
can remove up to 99.95% of the suspended particles in water and
provides an effective bacterial barrier. Disinfection
byproducts such as Trihalomethanes (THM’s) are eliminated though
Sionix’ ultra-violet disinfection technology.
Sources
of Water Suitable for a Sionix System
1. Surface
water with large amounts of low density particles such as: Algae,
Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Fecal Coliform bacteria and phytoplankton.
2. Surficial
groundwater under the influence of surface water.
3. Pretreated
waste and mine waters
4. Industrial
and Agricultural waters with additional treatment depending on specific
dissolved components. Dissolved
contaminants in many instances may be adsorbed and/or absorbed into the
coagulation / flocculation media then removed from the waste stream.
Flow
Rates for a Sionix Treatment System
